Mission Statement

Following the footsteps of Sts. Anne & Joachim, we strive

to join all members of the parish community into one family,

brought together and strengthened by prayer, the Mass,

the reception of the sacraments, religious education,

mutual support, and fellowship as guided by the Holy Spirit.

Pastor's Corner -- GROUNDBREAKING: A special thank-you to all those who were involved with the Groundbreaking ceremony in any way. The great number of people in attendance and the vibrant spirit of joy displayed were truly wonderful to behold. Special thanks to Linda Morris for chairing this event and to the planning committee, the parish staff and the many volunteers who pitched in to make it such a memorable night. While we still have a long ways to go, we are confident that the God who began this good work will bring it to completion. I am so proud to be a part of this wonderful family of families!!! * * * * A NOTE FROM MSGR. VAL GROSS: Congratulations! I was awe struck on Wednesday evening at the groundbreaking ceremony. It was touching to see the number of people present. I was overwhelmed when I looked to the back of the Church and saw all the seats filled and people standing. The ceremony out on the ground was also inspiring. As I was driving home, I was so elated and thought to myself, if anyone from another parish was present at the ceremony, they would love to join such a parish so full of life. Thank you and God bless as you continue to build a house of God and your faith community. I thank Fr. Bachmeier, his staff and Bishop Aquila for making this celebration possible and for all the good work done in preparing and executing this historic event. Msgr. Val Gross * * * * Thanks to all the children who participated in The Coloring Contest. There was a lot of great artwork submitted. Please congratulate the winners. Pre-K - Chloe Watterud; 1st - Claire Madson; 2nd - Taylor Zetocha; 3rd - Kolby Johnson; 4th - Aronah Mukhtar; 5th - Lindsay Newenhouse. And the winner of the Gummi Worm contest is Samantha Olson. * * * * To the right (on page 3 of the bulletin) is a copy of one of the three stained glass windows that will be displayed in the Grief Shrine of the new Church.
Please pray for our ill parishioners, family members, and friends... James Adams, Margaret Thompson, and Mary Wigginton.

Thank you to the three families who gave above and beyond their Building Fund pledges to donate the three new beautiful statues to the parish.  The statues depict: the Holy Family, the Divine Mercy, and Our Lady of Fatima.  Hurley's Religious Goods of Fargo arranged to  have the statues made and covered the cost of the freight.  The statues are hand carved of Carrara marble from a quarry in Carrara, Italy.  Carrara marble is a beautiful white material.  Green veining appears when the marble is polished.  Please pray in thanksgiving for the donors of these priceless works of art which will draw generations of people closer to our Blessed Mother, and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  The statues will be moved from our temporary worship space to the church, once construction of the church is completed.

St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle.  Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we  humbly pray, and thou, O Prince of heavenly host, by the power of God, Thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
