Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” After he placed his hands on them, he went away.

You are invited to come and pray the pro-life rosary every Saturday at 8:00am before the 8:30am Mass at Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church. We begin with the Cenacles of Life prayer and follow with the rosary. The sacrifice of getting up on a Saturday morning can be a real act of love and a form of fasting. Coming together to pray in the presence of our Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is one of the best ways to pray for life.

The Respect Life committee at Sts. Anne and Joachim organizes a Day of Remembrance for Unborn Children at Holy Cross North Cemetery in September, along with a night of Eucharistic Adoration on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, all to pray for an end to abortion and a respect for all life in the United States.
